1977 Dodge Mini Winnie Vehicle Description This RV has about 63,000 original miles on. The outside is in pretty good shape for a 30+ year RV. Its a dodge chassis with the 360 and auto trans, both work well. The inside is also in pretty good shape for being as old as it is. Someone painted over the original wood grain paneling with a tan color paint. The vinyl flooring is also newer. It also has newer curtains. It has a good Fridge, Roof A/C(needs cover but works great),Stove,Sink,Toilet,Shower. It has the typical cab over sleeper up top, and it has a couch in the rear that pulls out to a full size bed. The awning pulls out and is still in decent shape. The tires are old but all of them hold air and have good tread still. The brakes, etc. all work good. I believe this is a 21 foot RV. The only problems that I know of with this RV is as follows: The roof A/C cover blew off last year going down the highway, I never had it replaced but I looked around for prices and it looks to be about $100 to have it replaced. The roof air still works fine. 2: The hot water heater blows itself out every once in awhile. The igniter piece that you light is going bad, it will stay on sometimes for the whole weekend and other times it will go out within 5 minutes. Its very easy to change/fix and I believe the part is somewhere between $15-25. 3: I never used the inside heater, not sure if it works or not, never camped in the winter with it. 4: It has no generator, you must be plugged to a shore source. I myself have had this RV for about 1 1/2 years, I have only driven it approx. 100 miles since I have owned it. We put it down on our lake lot last year and used it all last summer and fall with no problems. I would drive it over to the dump station inside the lake property and it always started and ran with no problems. I have never taken it on a road trip. We are selling this RV because we bought a brand new 30 ft travel trailer with super slide, and we no longer need the minnie winnie. I drove it 50 miles to the lake and drove it 50 miles back and thats it. It sat all winter down at the lake and when I went to retrieve it this spring it started right up with the usual pumping and cranking. I didn't even have to charge the battery. I bought it for $2300 and put about another $300 or so into it(I put a new water pump on the inside, and had the hot water heater repaired) so I am not out to try to and make big money off this RV. If you want a decent RV to put down at the lake or at some property somewhere then this might be the one, its in pretty good shape for being over 30 years old, if you are looking for a PERFECT RV that you can travel all over the world with, then you probably should keep looking. It doesn't get that good of gas mileage what little I drove it, but I believe it to be road worthy and have no reason to believe it wouldn't make a trip back to wherever you live. Of course it is 30 years old so I won't make any guarantee's but I am a ASE certified tech and I believe it to be road worthy. This RV would be perfect for property, hunters, etc.. I have ran it off my shore power and off a honda generator. No shipping on this item. You can feel free to look at the RV anytime before the auction ends, it is located in Webster Groves MO about 10-15 minutes from downtown St. Louis. It is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. If you have any questions please feel free to ask them.
