Vehicle Description Ahoy! Up for auction is my 25' center console fishing boat. This vessel was originally made for great lakes fishing, and is now outfitted to do just that. I purchased it 2 years ago, from the family of the fellow who built it. It is a plywood / fiberglass hull design. VERY strong. When I got it, the engine was said to be in great shape, but after I got her in the water, found that one of the cylinders was cracked... So, 2 years later, after a COMPLETE engine rebuild and about 150 hours of work on my part, here she is. I have been studying for my captains license, but my upcoming marriage and moving plans have put a halt to that, so I am downsizing for now. Here's what you get: 1993 boat - 25' in length and 9 feet in width. This hull is very strong. I completely went over the floor, re-fiberglassed the entire deck and threw several coats of paint on it as well as all weather carpeting. I built a hard top, and installed many solar powered lights. This boat is GREAT for night fishing for walleye on Lake Erie. I also have back lights on the deck as well as super powerful search lights on the bow. There are storage compartments all along the deck, filled with all the goodies. Plenty of life vests, extinguishers, tons of up to date flares, ropes, anchors, tools, oars, you name it. Ther eare two comfy stools up front as well as 2 captains chairs at the helm and 2 more chairs in the back. Included is a great fish cooler for the big ones! The helm comes complete with 2 compasses, fish finder/gps chart plotter($750), and a $300 ship to shore radio as well as 2 antennas on the roof. The gps antenna is also on the roof. Off the bow is a nice new anchor, as well as a portable head. There is a great livewell on the bow as well - I think possibly it holds 30 gallons? There are 2 throwable flotation rings. Three fully operational horns as well as a safety reserve air horn. As you can tell, I am completely anal on my boats being absolutely decked out. There are 3 batteries included. I made a great switch block for all the electronic switches. There are 2 bilge pumps in the back, one automatic and one manual. The automatic pump turns on every several minutes for a second and if it senses water will stay on. I gave it a paint job this spring and it looks very cool. You can keep the name and logo if you wish, or paint over it. Ths really is the perfect fishing boat. It has an incredibly sturdy kicker mount that will hold up to a 50 hp motor easily. The deck is a self draining deck. The engine is a 2.5 liter 1995 175 HP Mercury. This engine has been completely rebuilt by "the boat doctor" out in Lorain. He is proclaimed to be the best in this part of the country. All the engine work and engine repairs came to over $4000. I have all the receipts for the new owner. There is a ONE YEAR GUARANTEE on this engine from June 2008 until June 2009!! I have had the boat out a couple times and she runs perfectly. It is not a fast boat (22mph max) but most fishing boats aren't. I can troll around 1.5 - 2.5 with the prop that he put on for me. I had him install a factory type fuel filter / water seperator and it is on the back of the stern (see photos). The engine has an electric tilt both on the engine itself and on the gear shift, so you can raise the engine while you are at the helm or while messing with it on the trailer. He installed a hot horn as well as a low oil horn. The fuel tank is a nice aluminum tank and is a 60 gallon. Sometimes I notice I need to tap on the fuel gauge to get it to respond, but works most of the time. It has a new tachometer as well. I completely emptied the fuel tank it and made sure it was totally clean before I filled it up. The engine is a 2 cycle. There is a 3 or 4 gallon reservoir for the oil. The doctor recommended adding a little oil to the fuel tank - about 100 : 1 for added life of the engine. I will include 2 gallons extra. I am including two most excellent planer boards I made myself. They are 3 plank boards and ride really great in the lake. I have 2 planer board poles as well as reels for the line. I am including 6 trolling rods with 60lb braided line, tons of dipsies and jet divers, snubbers.... The list goes on and on. I will include some perch rods as well. I will include a first aid kit - home made and full of good stuff. I am sure there are many many things I am forgetting. Basically, this is the whole package - ready to go. If it does not sell, I will be parting everything out, as I can surely make more money that way anyway... But due to time restraints, I would like to sell everything as a bundle and get my depression started with. The few times I have had her out, the cooler always came home with plenty of Walleye and Perch! I truly hate to part with this, as it is my life long hobby, but there will be another time... The package comes with a trailer. The trailer is very sturdy. The messy sides are just holding dry sea weed... I totally rebuilt the wheel bearings this spring - new bearings and everything. The tires are 85% good - real heavy duty trailer tires too. I ran nice wiring to the back and have good submersible lights. One is missing in the photo - it just went out and I will have a new one on for the winning bidder. It has a 4 prong connector (no brakes) and 2" ball. The bunks could stand to be re-carpeted, but are fine. I have taken this boat out the last 2 times myself, and unloaded and loaded it myself without any problems - handles nicer than you might think. I have a clean title ready to go for the boat. There is no title work for the engine or the trailer. Payment should be cash. Iwill also accept a bank check, but we will be going to the bank to cash it before I hand over the title. I will also consider PayPal, but I may need to add some small fees - PayPal is a killer on large ticket items. Payment needs to be received no more than 3 days following the conclusion of the auction. Delivery is most certainly possible. Please ask for any delivery quotes. Please feel free to ask any and all questiond BEFORE bidding. The boat is located just South of Cleveland. Zip is 44133 Thanks for looking and good luck!
