Vehicle Description
This auction is for my Champ. I could not find any champ boat matching the description on the registration so I assume it was made by champion or by a smaller independent company. I was told that the boat hull was a copy of the donzi design. It has double reinforced fiberglass hull. I bought this about 6 years ago and used it every season since then. I got it with an 235 johnson outboard rigged on a bracket. the boat was originally designed with twin inboards.. There is now a large alluminium plate across the back where the out-drives would have been and there is no leaks whatsoever. The boat is fast and very comfortable in big seas. the seats were newly covered and I do have the sun deck cushion...also newly recovered (not pictured) The hull is 100 % with no soft spots.for the past three years, I ran it with a 200 johnson outboard. the hull is 100% solid and needs nothing or a paint job if you like it has a 40 gallon alluminium tank already installed. the guages all work just fine. The motor is no good so the boat needs to be re-powered. I was told the bracket was designed for up to 300 hp. with the engine attached, the boat is about 28 feet. . Bring a trailer and come get it.
