Vehicle Description
You are bidding on a 1983 Mack DM686X, with a Weldbuilt wrecker body
It has a giant Trebron stiff leg and the boom was beefed up, and the hydrolic system was upgraded, all at the Trebron factory in Iowa. It has 2 30,000lb Braden winches, with a 20,000 winch mounted in the front push bumper. It has a HT 750 Allison automatic transmission and a Jacob Brake. This truck is in good mechanical condition. It needs to have the sides and tool boxs replaced, and rust repair to the cab. It is a very strong unit, I have owned it for 15 years and it has done everything that I have ever tried. I have lifted 68,000 pounds before with the boom fully extended. It is great for load shifts at the state scales.
