Vehicle Description
Boat is for sale with pickup ideally Labor Day weekend in Oriental, NC. Can be the beginning, middle or end of the weekend!
Sturdy Hunter handles 15-20 knot winds comfortably.
Used to sail inter-coastal waterways of North Carolina.
Births four comfortably with room for another person or two if you want to live TIGHTLY :).
Cushions in have just been redone and are in good shape.
Mariner 8HP outboard motor .
Lighting and electrical overhauled in 2007 by previous owner.
Sails are in very good shape - no tears or rips. (The boat really sails very nicely in my opinion.)
She is rigged with a 150% genoa on a roller furler, which can overpower the rudder in heavy winds (when gusts start reaching 20 knots I usually partially furl the genny to keep this from happening).
Rigging is slightly weathered but totally functional.
Bottom can use repainting but seems fine for this season.
Interior is painted white but has faux hard wood appointments that make the cabin pleasant and easy to live in.
The hull interior is covered in carpeting that has also just been redone making this a clean functional boat for short term cruising. Color scheme for this boat cabin is nautical blue. It does not have the fancy hardwood interior that some Hunters have. The interior is plywood construction painted white on the deck and covered in a fake wood pattern on the vertical surfaces.
Cabin is basic but clean and very functional. Galley includes a hand pump sink with 10 gallon bladder and a place for a gas stove (not included).
Head is a plastic port-a-jon that stores the doo in a tray in the bottom.
No trailer.
